Emmerdale fans were delighted as Jimmy returned to the village.
Viewers had complained about Jimmy's whereabouts, given that he hadn't appeared on screen for a while.
Fans first started tweeting around February 23, asking where he was.

But tonight, he returned to Emmerdale.
Jimmy explained he had a day off work and was helping out in the cafe.
Although he spent much of his time sitting around and reading the paper.
Nevertheless, fans were ecstatic to have him back in the Dales, as many hoped for more scenes.
Roberto tweeted: "Finally Jimmy back where did he go?"
Gav said: "JIMMY! Where you been?"
Doreen tweeted: "Jimmy has come out of hiding! Surprise!"
Another viewer said: "Jimmy’s alive."
Ryan said: "Jimmy long time no see."
And Ray tweeted: "JIMMY!!"
Meanwhile, Laurel despaired as she realised that she was going to have to look outside of the village in order to find a place that she can afford.
However, she was shocked to learn Mulberry's prospective buyer was actually Paddy.
Kim, who owns Mulberry, had failed to tell Laurel about Paddy's interest.
So when he came for a viewing, Laurel was stunned.
