Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in connection with the disappearance of Emma Faulds.
Detectives have said that their enquiries into the missing Kilmarnock woman's whereabouts are continuing.
A statement from Police Scotland released late on Wednesday evening said: "With reference to our previous appeals for information regarding the whereabouts of Emma Faulds (39) who is missing from the Kilmarnock area, please note: A 39 year old man has been arrested in connection with her disappearance and enquiries are continuing."
Emma was last seen at around 9.10pm on Sunday, April 28 in Monkton.
Emma is white, around 5ft 3in in height, with a slim, athletic build, pale complexion, blue eyes and long blonde hair.
