Elizabeth Potter found: Edinburgh pensioner traced after going missing

An Edinburgh pensioner who was reported missing on Monday has been traced safe and well.

Elizabeth Potter went missing from Seaview Crescent at around 10:20am this morning (23 December) and police issued an appeal for information.

The 76-year-old's family were said to be "extremely concerned" as she suffers from Alzheimer’s and has limited mobility.

Officers were urging the public to look out for Elizabeth and report any potential sightings.

However they confirmed on Monday evening that she has now been found safe and well, with officers keen to thank all those who shared their appeal.
