Police have confirmed an Edinburgh teen missing since Monday has been traced.
An urgent appeal was launched to find 14-year-old Aaron Strachan who was reported missing on Monday (27 May) after he was last seen near the Craigmillar Park area of Edinburgh, near Liberton .
Following a four-day search for the teenager police have confirmed that Aaron has now been traced and have thanked the public for their assistance.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are pleased to inform you that Aaron Strachan who was reported missing has been traced.
"Thanks to everyone who assisted and shared our appeal."
