Missing dog from Mosspark prompts search across south Glasgow for pet husky

A group of volunteers are searching for a missing dog last seen in the Mosspark area on Saturday night.

Desperate owners have launched the 'Let's get Thea home' appeal after the seven-year-old husky disappeared.

Beautiful Thea vanished at around 10.30pm on Saturday and searches have been carried out across the south of Glasgow in Mosspark, Cardonald, Bellahouston, Ibrox, Corkerhill, Pollok and Pollok Park but to no avail.

Her owner described the husky as: "very timid and always looks to me for reassurance but she is friendly. Given the circumstances she maybe wary", adding: "Please just bring my girl home."

To get involved in the search, you can visit the Let's get Thea home' Facebook page, here.
