Missing dad-of-three James Raeburn found safe and well after disappearing over the weekend

A missing man who disappeared for three days has been reunited with his family.

James Raeburn had last been seen in the Dunston area of Gateshead on Friday and no one heard from him over the weekend.

The 33-year-old, who was originally from Howdon , North Tyneside told his family he was going out with friends on Friday but he never actually met up with them and hadn't been in contact with anyone.

His sister Jorgie Day pleaded with him to come home on Monday and said his disappearance with "out of character".

Northumbria Police launched a search for the dad-of-three and the force confirmed on Tuesday morning that James had been found "safe and well".
