JAISALMER: Body of a 10-year-old boy, who was missing for the last two days from Jhinjhinyali police station area in Jaisalmer, was found in the water tank of a school on Thursday evening. The boy is suspected to be murdered. On getting information, the family members refused to take the body and sat on dharna outside the mortuary.
On Friday, police and administration lodged a case and assured the family members of an impartial probe following which they agreed to take the body.
The postmortem report states that the boy was murdered and and he died of suffocation. Police have started the investigation. Jhinjhinyali SHO Hadwant Singh said that Harish Nath, son of Kailash Nath Jogi, was missing since Wednesday evening from his home.
The family searched for him in the entire village but was unable to find him. They lodged a missing report at the police station on Thursday. tnn
