Missing boy found as man and woman arrested on suspicion of child abduction

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of child abduction after a missing boy was found.

Ellis Clegg, 15, had been missing since Sunday, December 12, last year.

The teenager, who is from Paisley, in Scotland, was known to have links to the Runcorn area.

Police confirmed today that he had been found 'safe and well.'

Detectives also revealed that a 36-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman, both from Runcorn, have both been arrested on suspicion of child abduction.

The man and woman, who were known to Ellis and not strangers, have since been released under investigation.
