Missing Blair Watson: Concerns raised by police over missing Midlothian man

Police Scotland have released an appeal to find a Midlothian man who disappeared from Newtongrange today (Sunday, 24 January, 2021.)

28-year-old Blair Watson was last spotted in the Beechwood Park area this morning and police are appealing to the public to help locate him.

There are growing concerns for the welfare of the young man who is described as a white, approximately 5ft 10”, average build, dark short hair and has facial and neck tattoos.

A statement from police Scotland reads: "Missing man – Blair Watson

"We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace Blair Watson who has been reported missing from Newtongrange on Sunday, 24 January, 2021.

"There are growing concerns for the 28-year-old, who was last seen in the Beechwood Park area this morning.

"Blair is described as a white, approximately 5ft 10”, average build, dark short hair and has facial and neck tattoos.

"Anyone who may have seen Blair, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1977 of 24th of January 2021."
