Missing Bellshill man Thomas Faulds: Police launch search after sudden disappearance in Airdrie

Police are searching for a Bellshill man reported missing by his family.

Thomas Faulds was last seen in Hallcraig Street in Airdrie yesterday lunchtime (Tuesday).

The 52-year-old, from the Bellshill area, has connections to Glasgow and is described as 5ft5”, slim build, white skin, grey/white hair, brown eyes and no facial hair.

Officers are appealing for members of the public to come forward with any information.

A Lanarkshire Police statement published this afternoon advised: "Police are appealing for information as to the whereabouts of Thomas Faulds (52) who has been reported missing by his family.

"Thomas was last seen in Hallcraig Street, Airdrie around 12.23pm on Tuesday 15th December 2020. Thomas is from the Bellshill area and has connections to Glasgow.

"Thomas is described as 5ft5”, slim build, white skin, grey/white hair, brown eyes and no facial hair. He also wears black glasses.

"He was last seen wearing a blue padded jacket, blue jeans and black training shoes.

"Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 with reference 2147 of 15/12/2020."
