A missing teenager from Leeds who had not been seen for over a week has been found safe and well.
A huge search for Anna Stoian, 14, was launched by West Yorkshire Police who were growing increasingly worried for her safety after she disappeared in the Harehills area on December 1.
Public appeals had sent out for help to find the Romanian-born teenager, including CCTV footage and her school photograph.
Today, police have announced that the young girl has been found and she is OK.
They said: “Anna Stoian, aged 14, from Leeds, who was the subject of a missing person appeal, has now been found safe and well.
“We are grateful to everyone who assisted in sharing the appeal.”
