Missing Airdrie schoolboy Kevin Paul found safe and well in Irvine

A missing schoolboy who vanished from a leisure centre a week ago has been found safe and well in Irvine.

Kevin Paul, 14, of Airdrie  had not been seen since Friday, July 19 at around 8.20pm at the Time Capsule leisure centre in Coatbridge.

But Ayrshire Police Division this afternoon confirmed he had been traced safe and well in Irvine.

A post on the Division's Facebook page read: "Good News! Kevin Paul (14) who had been missing from Airdrie since Friday 19 July 2019 has been traced safe and well in Irvine. Thank you for your assistance with our appeal."
