CCTV showing the last movements of Vitoria Barreto before she went missing in Essex has been released by police.
The 30-year-old academic from Brazil was reported missing four weeks ago. She has not been in contact with loved ones since March 3, after she met a friend at Essex University in Colchester.
CCTV shows Ms Barreto boarding the number 87 bus from Wivenhoe to Brightlingsea that afternoon.
She got off the bus in Bellfield Avenue at 1.30pm, was seen on CCTV in Hurst Green at 2.30pm and police believe that a person walking across a field south of Hurst Green between Back Waterside Lane and Mill Street at 3.33pm is her.
Previously, the last known sighting of Ms Barreto was at 12.16am on March 4 in a boatyard off Copperas Road, but footage has since been found of Ms Barreto walking through an industrial site on the south side of Copperas Road, closer to the Brightlingsea Creek and the marina at 12.22am on March 4.
Essex Police have appealed to anyone with information that could help them find Ms Barreto to come forward.
