Missing 50-year-old woman last seen in Chatham

Police are asking the community for help finding a missing 50-year-old woman who was last seen in Chatham on the South Side.

Tawanna Bryant, 50, was last seen about 7 p.m. Jan. 1 in the area of the 7900 block of South Calumet Avenue and may be in need of medical attention, Chicago police said in a missing person alert.

She is 5-foot-4, 130 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair, police said. She was last seen wearing a black coat, black T-shirt, black jogging pants and black boots.

Anyone with information is asked to call SVU detectives at 312-747-8274.
