Missing 45-year-old woman last seen in Scottsdale

Police are asking the community to help find a missing 45-year-old woman who was last seen in Scottsdale on the Southwest Side.

Portia Compton was last seen March 13 in the 4100 block of West 79th Street, Chicago police said in a missing person alert.

She is 5-feet, 220 pounds with with brown eyes and red hair, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central SVU detectives at 312-747-8380.
