Missing 14-year-old Jasmin Hue from North Belfast sparks police appeal

Update: Police say Jasmin has been located safe and well.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of missing 14-year-old female Jasmin Hue.

Police say the Cavehill teen was last seen at Belfast Royal Academy on the Cliftonville Road at around 1pm on Wednesday February 10.

PSNI North Belfast added: "She is described as being approximately 5ft 4 inches tall with black plaited hair and was last seen wearing black leggings, a Belfast Royal Academy half zip jumper [and] carrying a black and white Vans schoolbag.

"If you know of Jasmin's whereabouts or if you have possibly seen this young female, please contact Tennent Street Police as soon as possible by calling 101 and quote serial 777 of 10/02/21."

Meanwhile, a yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for Northern Ireland on Saturday.

The snow and ice warning is in place from midnight on Friday night until midnight on Saturday, February 13.

"Snow is likely to spread east during Saturday with some accumulations in places and icy stretches," a Met Office spokesperson added.

There is also potential for disruption to travel across towns and cities, according to the weather warning.
