Miss United States accuses Trump ally congressman of threatening to release private videos after breakup

A Florida Republican state committee member who holds the Miss United States title has filed a police report accusing U.S. Representative Cory Mills of threatening to release sexually explicit images and videos of her following their breakup. Lindsey Langston, who was crowned Miss United States in October 2024, filed the report with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department on July 14, detailing alleged threats that began after she ended their relationship earlier this year.

According to the police report obtained by Drop Site News, Langston said she was in a relationship with the Florida congressman for over three years before breaking up with him in February 2025. The report states that Mills contacted her multiple times using different accounts with threats to release nude images and videos, including recordings of them engaging in sexual acts.

The Miss United States just accused a Trump ally congressman of threatening to release explicit videos after their breakup, marking the latest controversy for Mills, who has previously faced assault allegations. The police report indicates that Mills allegedly threatened to harm any men Langston intended to date in the future, with text messages provided to law enforcement as evidence of the threats.

Text messages reveal alleged threats against future partners

One text message obtained by news outlets and included in the police documentation shows particularly concerning language about potential future confrontations. The message reads: “You want to date or be with someone else. Be my guest. But they need to know well in advance that if we cross paths, I don’t care this week, this month, or this decade. They better damn well know it’s coming every time.” Langston provided these texts to the sheriff’s department as part of her complaint against the congressman.

Mills has denied all allegations in a statement to Politico, claiming he has not been notified of any accusations from law enforcement or Langston herself. The congressman stated that the claims are false and misrepresent the nature of his interactions, asserting that he has always conducted himself with integrity both personally and in his service to Florida’s 7th District – a state that’s become central to Trump’s political operations. A spokesperson for the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to Politico that the allegations will be reviewed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and Drop Site News reported that Langston has also filed a restraining order against Mills.

The timing of Langston’s breakup with Mills coincides with another investigation involving the congressman. According to the police report, Langston told authorities she ended the relationship after learning about allegations that Mills assaulted another woman at a Washington apartment on February 19. Mills denied wrongdoing in that case and was not charged. The congressman, who is considered an ally of President Donald Trump, joining other controversial figures in Trump’s political orbit, has publicly expressed his intention to run for the Senate seat vacated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio in 2026.
