Miss Great Britain 2020 opened up about her amazing eight stone weight loss over two years after suffering from heartbreak.
Jen Atkin was nearly 18 stone at her heaviest when her boyfriend at the time decided to break up with her. As a result, she took at her life and decided to get healthy.
And 24 months later, Jen has been crowned at Great Britain's beauty pageant.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, host Susanna Reid described it as an "incredible story".
Speaking about the break-up that sparked everything, Jen said that she and he ex had "got too comfortable" but is now friends with him.
She quipped: "I'm thinking thank you so much for leaving me!"
Asked how she had managed to put on weight in the first place, she admitted she was a "a girl who loves her food".
"I mean, who doesn't like the odd burger or jaffa cake," she said. "I couldn't cook and my own house [so I] taught myself to cook."
She also began to exercise and said that how incredible she felt inside made her want to continue being healthy.
Jen had been working at a homeless charity when she had been approached by someone who suggest that she apply for Miss Great Britain.
"It was so much fun and if you haven't competed you wouldn't understand," she said. "I just got the confidence to walk on stage."
