A reminder that Mishal Husain is to be interviewed “on stage” tomorrow (20 January) at a Media Society event.
The Radio 4 Today programme presenter and BBC news reader will be questioned about her work and career by a former Today editor, Phil Harding.
He says she has an interesting personal story to tell. The daughter of Pakistani parents, she was raised in the United Arab Emirates before being schooled in Britain.
She first appeared on Today in October 2013, becoming the programme’s first Muslim presenter. Known for her unflappable style and politely persistent interviewing technique, she was voted last year as broadcaster of the year by the London Press Club.
The event, at London’s Groucho Club, will take place between 6.30 to 8.30pm. Tickets can be obtained via Eventbrite.
