Misfits Boxing 6 UK start time and ring walks for JMX vs Le'Veon Bell

JMX and LeVeon Bell are in New Orleans for an intense night of influencer boxing as Misfits Boxing returns to America for their first big show of 2023 outside of the UK.

Brit Joel Morris, known by his YouTube handle JMX, has travelled across the world to face NFL standout Bell in his first American fight after knocking off the ring rust when he stopped Ginty back in October. The football player swapped his boots for gloves back in September when he knocked out fellow running back Adrian Peterson before losing to UFC star Uriah Hall.

Elsewhere on the card there's women's action including the debut of Jesse 'Fangs' Lannister and Paul Bamba finally steps in the ropes on a big stage when he faces Chris Avila, teammate of Nate Diaz in the co-main event. All this is happening with the likes of Anthony Taylor and Diaz himself in attendance, so be prepared for a crazy night of fights.

Here's all you need to know about this weekend's event...

When is Misfits Boxing 6 and what time does it start in the UK?

Misfits Boxing 6 headlined by Bell and JMX will take place at the XULA Convention Center in New Orleans on Friday April 22. The card will begin at 1am in the UK, 7pm local, with the broadcast beginning at that point featuring a whole range of influencers on a stacked undercard.

It is expected that the main event fighters will make their ring walk at around 3.30am UK time or around 9.30pm local. This will all depend on the duration of the undercard bouts, but many of the contests are only scheduled for a short amount of rounds, although they are all sanctioned as professional so they will be three minutes in duration.

How to watch Misfits Boxing 6 via TV and live stream

Streaming service DAZN are the exclusive broadcast partner of the Misfits Boxing series and will show the fifth event live on the platform, with viewers able to catch the event at 1am. The fights will come at no extra cost to the price of a standard subscription, with new viewers able to subscribe for £9.99 per month providing they stand up to a fixed twelve-month term.

Alternatively, customers will need to fork out £19.99 per month if they want to commit to the service for a shorter period under the new price structure. DAZN can be watched on multiple devices including laptop, smart TV and through the mobile app.

Quotes corner

Leveon Bell: "I feel great, ready, prepared, confident and I am ready for April 21. It's comparable to like a Super Bowl week, a championship week, not a regular season week. Preparation-wise I just know how to go about taking care of my body and making sure I'm ready for the day"

JMX : "I'm feeling good, it's a wild city so the energy is nice and I'm just excited. It's a main event in America, a sick place to be and I'm just focused on executing what I need to execute. It's a bit boring, life at the moment, I've walked around a bit but not really experienced it to the full unfortunately."
