'Misfit' PJ Gallagher opens up on adoption from Mother and Baby Home

Beloved Dublin comic PJ Gallagher has spoken out about having low self-worth, stemming from being adopted from a Mother and Baby Home.

The Dublin funnyman is the face of Radio Nova’s breakfast show after switching from Classic Hits 4FM.

Speaking on Sile Seoige’s Ready To Be Real podcast, PJ opened up about his mother giving birth to him in the Bessborough home.

He said: “I always felt like I didn’t fit in, I still feel like I don’t fit in.

“Maybe it is because of adoption. I always feel like I’m trying to make up for my existence.

“It’s nobody’s fault, it’s just a gut feeling I can’t get rid of. I always feel like, if I’m in your life, you’re worse off because of it.”
