Apparently, 'tis the season to relaunch national newspaper websites.
Earlier this week we had the much-anticipated relaunch of The Times website. Times Online suffered a few teething problems, but, hey, it happens to the best of us from time to time (as anybody who looked at MediaGuardian before 10am today can testify).
Now the Mirror has snuck out a relaunch too.
While the Times' new look is still in keeping with the traditional newspaper website formula, the Mirror's approach is much more of a departure: very short news teasers and lots of web TV.
The people behind the web TV technology are Roo - as they have been in a string of other new video services: including Times Online, Sun Online, Fox News and Sky News.
In my humble opinion TimesOnline is streets ahead of the much-trumpeted Telegraph website.
And the Mirror site certainly gives Sun online a run for its money and makes the Sun's site look, well, a little bit tacky (especially today with its Sunday Sport-style coverage of Britney lesbian claims and its viral video selection). My colleague Roy Greenslade holds exactly the opposite view.
Of course when the Guardian has a redesign, we will throw ourselves at your mercy and ask what you think. In the meantime, your verdict on the Mirror, please.
