Speaking about the time she was scolded by the Queen, Miriam said: “I was invited to Buckingham Palace and the Queen asked me what I did.

“And I said, like a ****, I’m the best reader of stories in the whole world.”

The blunder left Holly and Phil stunned as they said ‘sorry’ to viewers.

Miriam then explained how the Queen rolled her eyes and moved on.

When the next person explained that they helped dyslexic children to read, the actress couldn’t help but intervene over how ‘fascinating’ it was.

The Queen then snapped at Miriam to ‘be quiet’, which Miriam says ‘she had every right to do’.

This Morning fans have been left amused by the ‘hilarious’ gaffe.
