Miriam Margolyes and Tracy-Ann Oberman to star in Park Theatre's upcoming season

Miriam Margolyes and Tracy-Ann Oberman will both star in the new season at the Park Theatre.

Margolyes returns to the theatre in October for a world premiere of Eugene O’Hare’s black comedy Sydney and the Old Girl, which follows a warring mother and son.

In September, Mother Of Him sees Oberman star as a Jewish single mother, dealing with the repercussions of her son’s criminal activity.

The Park200 season in the main theatre opens in July with Whodunnit [Unrehearsed], in which actors including Gillian Anderson, Damian Lewis, Joanna Lumley and Simon Callow take turns to solve a murder mystery with no script or direction.

A second new play by O’Hare, The Weatherman, will also get its premiere in August.

Elsewhere in the season, Disney’s Meaghan Martin opens the Park90 season with The Actor’s Nightmare by Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang.

The Park is also announcing a new membership scheme for young people, which offers free development workshops and early access to cheap tickets.
