Winter is never a good time to be using the roads.
It's darker and more dangerous and a lot of the time you have to get up earlier in the morning to de-ice your car.
However, a new windscreen treatment being offered by Halfords autocentres promises to change all of this.
It promises to banish windscreen ice and fog for good, the Manchester Evening News reports.
The description on the website reads: "Duxback is a professional-quality car glass treatment that makes driving safer.
"Originally developed for the airline industry. Duxback causes water to 'bead' on glass, dramatically improving visibility in the rain.
"What's more, it makes cleaning much easier, and prevents frost sticking to your windscreen in winter."
Each treatment costs £25, and lasts up to six months.
Does Duxback work?
According to Halfords, Duxback increases visibility by 35% in pouring rain.
The treatment improves the driver's ability to identify a small object by 25%.
It's claimed that the product's hydrophobic qualities will mean ice will not stick to the glass or will be much easier to remove.
It also promises to make it easier to remove squashed bugs.
It lasts for six months and costs £25.
