Shocking photos show the aftermath of a crash between a van and an ambulance on the M66.
North West Motorway Police shared the images of the smash on Twitter, which appeared to leave the front end of the van completely mangled.
The side of the ambulance also looked to be dented.
Despite the extensive damage to the van, police said that no one was hurt in the crash.
Just after 5.30pm today (February 25) a spokesman for North West Motorway Police tweeted: "This was the scene on the M66 earlier.
"Luckily no injuries.
"All clear now."
