Minor Hotels announced a 50:50 joint partnership with B&G Park Co to own and operate a resort in the beachside town of Hua Hin.
Currently operating as Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa, the property will be rebranded to Avani Hua Hin Resort & Villas on Nov 20.
Minor Hotels will invest about US$22.5 million or 742.5 million baht in the project.
Dillip Rajakarier, chief executive of Minor Hotels, said the resort offers 196 guest rooms and a 900 square metre ballroom, the largest event space in Hua Hin.
The meeting facilities will make this resort to handle meetings, conferences, as well as large-scale weddings and social events, he said.
