Mino Raiola's long-standing PSG relationship and the eight stars he's moved to Paris

Super agent Mino Raiola is one of the most recognised names in world football.

The 53-year-old boasts a star-studded catalogue of clients around the globe, including some in the Premier League.

Perhaps Raiola's most famous client on these shores is Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

But should United be wary of Raiola's healthy relationship with French giants Paris Saint Germain - the team who have been linked with a swoop for Pogba all summer?

The two parties have done business on numerous occasions over the past few years - and could be tempted to do business again this summer.

Here, Mirror Football looks at eight of the stars that Raiola has represented over the years with the French giants.

1) Gianluigi Donnarumma

Donnarumma was the star of Italy's Euro 2020 triumph this summer, even winning the player of the tournament award.

The Italian came through the youth ranks at AC Milan before his departure this summer.

The 22-year-old ran down his contract at Milan, leaving his future in the hands of Raiola whilst he starred for the Azzurri in their run to European glory.

Raiola netted his client a mega five-year deal in the French capital - likely with a big chunk of money for himself as PSG didn't have to shell out on a transfer fee.

It was reported that the agent was demanding a €20m commission for his part in manufacturing a move for the Italian star.

2) Moise Kean

Everton striker Kean is one of Raiola's clients who is currently contracted in the Premier League, along with Pogba.

The Italian spent last year on loan in Paris, who are keen on a permanent deal - but aren't so eager to meet Everton's €45m asking price.

Raiola is reportedly trying to broker an agreement between the two sides to follow up on the temporary agreement he arranged last summer.

Both he and Everton would prefer a permanent move, whilst the French outfit would prefer another loan considering the current economic climate.

Kean notched 12 goals in 24 Ligue 1 appearances, meaning his stint in France has been a much greater success than his dismal one in the Premier League.

The Italian forward has flopped on Merseyside, managing just two goals in over 30 appearances.

3) Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Perhaps Raiola's most famous client, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had a number of blockbuster moves brokered by the super agent.

Raiola pulled the strings on Ibrahimovic's €20m transfer to PSG from AC Milan - reportedly netting the Swedish star an extortionate €14m salary.

Since then Ibrahimovic has gone on to seal mega agreements with Manchester United, LA Galaxy and AC Milan.

When the duo first met, Raiola told Ibrahimovic that he had to "start training three times as hard, because your stats are trash", comparing them to Serie A stars such as David Trezeguet and Christian Vieri.

If there really was any scepticism on Raiola's part about the duo working together, it's a good thing he chose to ignore it and work with the Sweden star.

4) Blaise Matuidi

Blaise Matuidi is one of many clients that Raiola has been outspoken about in the wake of his move to Juventus collapsing back in 2016.

"[Matuidi] is very disappointed to have been taken off of the market by PSG," Raiola told Premium Sport.

"Now we will talk with the club and see. We are all surprised by their withdrawal from negotiations."

The midfielder eventually got his move to Serie A, with Raiola going back to thrash out an agreement which saw Matuidi move for a fee worth up to €30.5m, netting a three-year deal.

Matuidi has since moved on to America, where The Guardian reported his big-money deal with David Beckham's Inter Miami has broken MLS budget rules.

5) Marco Verratti

Marco Verratti joined forces with Raiola four years ago in light of a public fall-out with his former agent, Donato Di Campli.

The Italian was forced to apologise after his former agent caused offence when stating that Verratti was a "prisoner" in Paris - a comment which cost him his partnership with the Italian star.

Since Raiola connected with Verratti, the agent has negotiated on new deals with the Paris club. However, the long-serving midfielder was reportedly offered to Barcelona back in 2018, according to The Sun.

Verratti has been linked with a summer switch to the Premier League after starring for Italy in their Euro 2020 win - although Raiola has been uncharacteristically quiet on the matter so far.

6) Maxwell

Maxwell had his move to Paris from Barcelona back in 2009 brokered by Raiola, who negotiated a three-year deal for the veteran defender.

The agent reportedly came under fire for his relationship with Maxwell some years earlier, when former club Ajax accused the agent of convincing the star to wind his contract down.

Maxwell moved on to Inter before Raiola engineered a switch to the Nou Camp for a reported €4.5m fee, with the defender agreeing to a lucrative five-year contract.

7) Alphonse Areola

Alphonse Areola is a name who Raiola has recently added to his clientele of players in the Premier League.

The ex-PSG stopper spent last year on loan at relegated Fulham, impressing enough to earn a temporary stay at West Ham this year.

The Hammers are thought to have beaten off strong competition to capture Areola's signature, although they had to negotiate with Raiola to do so.

Raiola negotiated the deal which took the French stopper to Spanish giants Real Madrid back in 2019 before turning that deal permanent a year later.

Raiola reportedly brokered the 28-year-old a huge contract at the Bernabeu - which could make a permanent deal difficult to do should he prove a hit at the London Stadium this year.

8) Mitchel Bakker

Raiola engineered Mitchel Bakker's free switch to Paris back in the summer of 2019.

This was the same summer that he captured global attention for his reported commission demands as he lined up a mega-money for Bakker's ex-Ajax teammate Matthijs De Ligt.

Bakker penned a lucrative four-year deal in the French capital, but he only lasted two years before Raiola arranged his departure to Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

Despite only staying at PSG for two years, Bakker left with five trophies to his name, as the French outfit dominated domestic competition during the full-back's short stay.

After his departure from France, Raiola secured the Dutch U21 international a four-year deal in the Bundesliga, where the former Ajax starlet is expected to secure more regular football.
