Mino Raiola makes Paul Pogba transfer statement after midfielder misses Chelsea vs Man United

Mino Raiola has hit out at Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over Paul Pogba's future at Old Trafford.

The French midfielder has played just seven Premier League matches this season, suffering an ankle injury that has kept him out for much of the last year.

The 26-year-old rejoined Manchester United in 2016 after leaving on a free transfer to Juventus in 2012, but has not quite reached his full potential amid a changing landscape at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho signed the midfielder for around £90million, but it has not gone as well as hoped since he made the move.

Manchester City UEFA ban: What got them here?

A League Cup and Europa League double in his first season has not been followed by any other success at United, though he was a central part of the France team that won the World Cup in 2018.

Pogba will have just a year left on his contract at the end of the season, and rumours have been swirling that the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and his former side Juventus are considering a move in the summer.

And his agent Raiola has yet again poured fuel on the fire, taking to Instagram to launch a stinging attack on United manager Solskjaer.

"Paul is not mine and for sure not Solskjaer's property, Paul is Paul Pogba," Raiola stated.

"You cannot own a human being already for a long time in the UK or anywhere else.

"I HOPE Solskjaer DO NOT WANT TO SUGGEST THAT PAUL IS HIS PRISONER.

"BUT BEFORE Solskjaer makes comments about things I say he should inform himself better about the content of what has been said. I am a free citizen who can think and express my thoughts.

"Until now I was maybe [too] nice to him. Solskjaer should just remember things that he said in the summer to Paul.

"I think Solskjaer may be frustrated for different reasons and is now mixing up some issues.

"I think that Solskjaer has other things to worry about. AT LEAST IF I WAS HIM I WOULD."
