Mino Raiola drops hint over Paul Pogba's next club after Manchester United exit claim

Mino Raiola believes Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could re-join Juventus in the summer of 2021.

Pogba's agent conducted a interview with Italian outlet Tuttosport claiming the World Cup winner was currently unhappy at the club and described his time at Old Trafford as "over".

Furthermore, he believes Pogba needs to leave the club where he is currently unable to express himself and backed a transfer exit in next summer's transfer window.

Transfer speculation over Pogba's future is nothing new as the 27-year-old has been regularly linked with Real Madrid over the past few seasons and openly flirted with the prospect of moving to the Bernabeu in October.

Nevertheless, Raiola named his former club Juventus as a possible transfer destination.

He told Tuttosport : "Maybe Juventus could be Pogba's next club... why not?

"The relationship between Paul, Juventus and former teammates is excellent.

"But with the COVID impact, many clubs can’t sign him. For sure, it's time to leave Manchester United.

"Yes, Paul Pogba can come back to Juventus. He’s not happy at Manchester United."

Pogba is contracted to United until 2022 after the club exercised the clause in his contract to extend his current deal by a further season.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes his exit would be the best case scenario for the club.

He said on Sky Sports: "Get rid, I've been saying this for 12 months - oh my God, the most overrated player I've ever seen in my life!

"I think the two of them [Raiola and Pogba] are a disgrace. We'll all look at the agent now and say: 'Ask Pogba what does he think' - agents in this day and age are not just agents, they're a parent, they're their best friend, they're a financial adviser, they book holidays, they go away with each other.

"Those two will be like that (crossed fingers), he'll be Pogba's best mate. So Pogba will be well aware of what was going to come out of his mouth, and if he wasn't, he should sack his agent."
