Mino Raiola clarifies Erling Haaland transfer comments amid Manchester United and Man City interest

Mino Raiola has revealed that Erling Haaland could stay at Borussia Dortmund for another season.

Haaland is one of the world's most sought after centre-forwards and Europe's most elite clubs are interested in his signature.

The 21-year-old has scored 17 goals in just 14 games across all competitions this term and Manchester United and Manchester City remain admirers of the Norwegian. Haaland was Pep Guardiola's priority target in the summer but the player stayed in Germany.

Raiola hasn't been afraid to discuss Haaland's future openly in public and he's now released a fresh statement on the matter.

Raiola has attempted to clarify an interview he did earlier this week in which he listed four clubs Haaland could sign for. United were not on the list.

"I want to clarify the following about the Sport1 interview," Rangnick wrote on social media.

"The four clubs I have mentioned about Haaland's future were just an example to say that, when he leaves, he will go to one of the top 15 European clubs. Now Erling's focus is solely on football, there are no negotiations with any club.

What do you make of Raiola's handling of Haaland? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

"And I reaffirm what I said - it's not a sure thing that he will leave this summer, maybe it will be in the one after that."
