Mino Raiola has taken aim at the intense media interest in his client Paul Pogba as he nears the end of his current deal with Manchester United.
Pogba, 28, is out of contract at the end of the season and will be allowed to leave the club for free if he does not sign a deal before the end of the campaign.
The Frenchman would also be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs in the January transfer window, unless he agrees a new deal before then.
Pogba has still not shown any concrete interest in signing a new contract yet and his future was once again put to agent Raiola in a brief interview with Italian media.
Raiola took the opportunity to aim a dig at former United players for their obsession with the France international but then also teased we are approaching 'the month for dreaming', a possible hint of a transfer.
“Dreaming is free, I don’t forbid anyone to dream, it’s good," Raiola told TuttoMercatoWeb. "Then let’s see if they come true. December is the month for dreaming with Christmas and the holidays, it’s still too early, let’s see what happens.
“We don’t know why, but when we talk about Pogba in England, even the dead wake up. Some former Manchester United players, if they don’t talk about Pogba and me, they don’t talk about anything. So it’s better not to talk about it.”
