This is a Vikings team that has been impacted by injuries quite a bit.
DE Danielle Hunter and LB Anthony Barr are both out for the season. From Mike Hughes to Cameron Dantzler, the Vikings have dealt with injury issues in the secondary at times, too.
The latest key absence has been linebacker Eric Kendricks. He’s arguably the best player on Minnesota’s new-look defense, and he’s been out for the last three games. Getting him back would greatly improve the entire complexion of the defense and, by extension, the team.
