Minneapolis, Vikings apply to host another Super Bowl

Although it was cold, many considered Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis a success in February 2018.

Could the Super Bowl make another trip back to Minneapolis and U.S. Bank Stadium? The team and city officials hope so.

Per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, the team has applied for the city to host the Super Bowl as early as 2028.

We know where the Super Bowl will be played through the 2024 season, and all are warm-weather locations:

2020: Miami Gardens
2021: Tampa Bay
2022: Los Angeles
2023: Phoenix
2024: New Orleans
