TEAM NEEDS

Offensive Line
The Vikings’ offensive line needs help, well, just about everywhere. Boasting one of the worst rushing offenses in the league, Minnesota will need to add some extra beef up front to open up holes for Dalvin Cook. They have some young pieces in Brian O’Neill and Pat Elfein, but they would benefit greatly from double dipping on the offensive line within the first two days of the draft.
Defensive Tackle
Linval Joseph is one of the best run-stuffing defensive tackles in the league, but the loss of Sheldon Richardson to the Browns in free agency leaves an opening in the Vikings’ starting lineup, as well as a deficiency in their interior pass rush. While not as pressing of a need as their offensive line, adding a more athletic defensive tackle to team up with Joseph in their base 4-3 defense would greatly boost a pass rush that already boasts Everson Griffen and Danielle Hunter off the edge.
Wide Receiver
You read that right. Wide receiver is far from a gaping hole considering the fact that the Vikings have Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs locked up until 2021 and 2024, respectively. However, Laquon Treadwell is not the physical, jump ball-grabbing X receiver Minnesota wanted him to be, and they are incredibly thin at the receiver position outside of their two stars. They could target a big-bodied wide out to round out their starting lineup and make it even more dangerous.
