Minnesota Speaker Hortman raises $26,820 this election cycle

According to the most recent campaign finance reports made to the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board, Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman has raised $26,820 and spent $22,471 between Jan. 1, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2021.

The speaker of the Minnesota House is the leader of the state’s lower chamber. Rep. Hortman is a member of the Democratic Party and has served as a state representative since 2005. Rep. Hortman’s current term ends in 2023.
