Economic Revitalization Minister Yasutoshi Nishimura told reporters Sunday he was not thinking of making another state of emergency declaration regarding the coronavirus pandemic, at least for the time being.
He made the remarks at a press conference on Sunday, at which he was asked about his views on Tokyo and Kitakyushu, where cases are going up.
"I am closely watching the situation," he said adding that transmission routes are clear for many of the cases. and hence there is no need for another state of emergency declaration for now.
