If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be chased by a dinosaur, race with a Transformer or dodge Donkey from Shrek, here's your chance.
Universal Studios Florida is launching a new race around the Orlando parks - and there will be some familiar faces along the way.
The first Epic Character Races - with lengths of 5k and 10k - are due to take place in February and are open to all the family, aged five and up.
The two different courses will take runners through both the Universal Studios park itself, as well as parts of Universal's Islands of Adventure.
Competitors in the 5k event will make their way through the Universal Studios Florida theme park – including the iconic scenery of New York, San Francisco and other areas of the park – as well as areas located toward the front of Islands of Adventure, including the mystical Port of Entry and Seuss Landing. Runners of the 10k will take a route that runs throughout both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, including the sprawling lands of Jurassic Park, Toon Lagoon and more.
Universal Studios Hollywood is also hosting its next Running Universal race featuring DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls on Sunday, April 26, 2020 with a 5K, a Kids’ 1K and a 10K run. For information about Running Universal events in both Orlando and Hollywood, and to register, click here.
