Minions Crocs available to buy for half price and shoppers 'need' them

Crocs designed to look like Minions are currently available to purchase for half price, and shoppers say they "need" them.

Minions: The Rise of Gru is currently in cinemas, and the iconic shoe company made the unique product to coincide with its release. The Crocs are yellow with a blue band — the same colour scheme as the characters themselves — and feature their iconic large eyes.

The product description for the shoes states: "A decade after their introduction, the Minions are still popular no matter how old or young. Crocs Fun Lab styles feature original character-rich graphics and other inspired designs to help kids express themselves and engage new friends, resulting in more fun for the little ones."

For a limited time, the Crocs — which are usually priced at £34.99 — are available to buy for just £17.50. They come in a range of children's sizes, but will likely sell out sooner rather than later.

One shopper was keen to spread the news of the bargain with others on Facebook. Writing on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, they said: "Kids Minion Crocs NOW Half Price With Free Delivery".

Since being shared, the post has received more than 80 likes and over 780 comments. Crocs and Minions fans alike were quick to share their thoughts on the unusual collaboration.

One Facebook user revealed: "Would love these!"

"Would be a lovely birthday present," a second echoed.

"You need these," a third wrote, after tagging another user.

"How cute am these," shared a fourth, while a fifth agreed: "Omg soooooo cute".

Others were disappointed that the shoes were only available for children, with one questioning: "Y can’t they do adult ones?"

"Pity they don’t do adult sizes," a second disappointed Minions fan commented.

Not everyone was a fan of the colourful design, however, with one Facebook user simply stating: "Absolutely not".

"For the love of God," wrote a second alongside a vomiting emoji.
