AHMEDABAD: The city on Tuesday recorded a minimum temperature of 10.6°C, 1.6 degrees lower than normal.
At 23.8°C, the maximum temperature was 3.9 degrees lower than normal.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the minimum temperature on Wednesday is likely to remain around 10°C. ‘No large change in minimum temperatures during next 2 days, thereafter gradual rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius during subsequent 3 days very likely over the region,’ mentioned the forecast. On Tuesday, cold wave conditions prevailed in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Surendranagar, Porbandar and Kutch.
At 5.8 degrees, Naliya was the coldest weather station in Gujarat.
