One dead, three others injured in minibus and car collision

The car and minibus collided at the intersection of Warton Road and Armadale Road in Banjup.

A woman has died and three other people are in hospital following a serious crash between a car and a minibus in Perth's south.

Authorities were called to the intersection of Warton Road and Armadale Road in Banjup shortly before 5:30pm.

Emergency crews cut two people from the vehicle and freed two others who were trapped in the minibus.

A 51-year-old woman, who was a passenger on the minibus, was flown to Royal Perth Hospital but died overnight.

The male driver of the bus was transported to the same hospital via St John Ambulance. He is in a serious but stable condition.

Two other people were transferred by road to Fiona Stanley Hospital, with head, pelvic, and leg injuries.

Armadale Road was closed in both directions between Warton Road and Taylor Road.
