Mini-moshers can jump around during live rock concert for kids at Edinburgh Fringe

Mini-moshers are being invited along to the Assembly Checkpoint for a live rock concert for kids this summer.

Youngsters aged six and older can unleash their inner rock god when a Belgian indie supergroup take to the stage at the Bisto Place venue during Edinburgh's Festival Fringe.

Those behind the show, which will run at the venue from 31 July to 26 August, say its never too soon to "break out the Clash, become submerged in The Beatles and strut to the Strokes".

The super-group called Comète is made up of Lio, Brice, Dan and Caesar – members of Girls in Hawaii, Hallo Kosmo and Italian boyfriend.

And they'll be plugging in their guitars to perform to what could possibly be their youngest ever crowd.

Organisers Compagnie Derivation say: "Featuring indie covers alongside Comète's own irresistible compositions, this is an unforgettable full live concert that will have young audiences immersed in the full gig experience – clapping, dancing and even screaming before the clock has struck noon."

Shows will take place at 10.30am each day besides Thursday 8 August, and Tuesday, 13 August.
