An aspiring young footballer is following in the footsteps of Marcus Rashford — by helping out those in need.
Kaleb Lindsay-Nelson, 10, has raised more than £500 to buy essentials for homeless people over the winter, and shows no signs of slowing down.
Supported by dad Rio, the young Reddish North End striker is going to keep up his efforts through to Christmas.

Kaleb says he’s raising the money to keep homeless people warm and well-fed.
“It is winter time and I want to help the homeless to stay warm and eat,” he told the Manchester Evening News.
“It makes me feel happy that people are generous.
“These are people who do not have anything.”
Rio got the ball rolling by donating £5 for every man of the match award he received, or goal he scored, playing for Reddish North End.

But the youngster's success came as a real surprise to both him and his dad, who initially set a £100 target.
“The target was just £100 to get essentials,” Rio, who documents their work on Instagram, said.
“Then it took a turn for itself and with social media Kaleb started to get support across all the platforms.
“Now he has surpassed that. It is not going to be a one off thing and [we’ll] keep it going.
“What we intend on doing is delivering all the essential goods now, and in December we will distribute food.”
Despite following in the footsteps of Marcus Rashford, one thing is for certain — Kaleb’s a blue.
But, the success of his charity project has only added to his dad’s pride.

“It’s amazing,” the dad-of-two adds. “This is all Kaleb’s work. This is what he wanted to do and I am just chaperoning him.”
The money raised has already been used to put together half-a-dozen bags full of essentials for homeless people, like warm clothes, toiletries, and painkillers.
