Mini Eggs fans discover 'life-changing' way to eat chocolate treat and 'won't turn back'

Mini Eggs often begin appearing on shelves well before Easter, but nobody complains as they're a great chocolate treat.

However, social media users are only just learning a 'life-changing' way to eat the chocolate snack. While they are commonplace in cakes and are mostly eaten straight from the pack, one internet user shared a surprising alternative.

As reported by the Mirror, the user suggested popping your Mini Eggs into the microwave before digging in - and after trying this out, she says she'll never go back to eating them from the bag.

The TikToker shared this surprising tip to her account, where she posts under the username @itsgraceg.

In the clip, Grace explained she saw someone microwave Mini Eggs and had to try it out for herself. Now she says it's her "new favourite thing".

The TikToker, who was frustrated at the "lack of yellow ones" said she will "never eat them normally again".

The clip has been viewed 3.1 million times and attracted more than 200,000 likes from social media users.

Many people were blown away by the simple food hack and took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One person said: "Just tried it and it was so good," while another called the clever hack a "Game changer".

"Why have I never thought of this," asked a third user. One more commented: "And all those years we’ve been eating them raw."

One commenter suggested that you can also do the same with Minstrels, which are milk chocolate buttons with a hard, glazed shell from Galaxy.

They said: "Do Minstrels. It'll change your life – I've got a 900W microwave and do 30 secs .They're perfect."
