Mini Calippo multi-packs recalled over fears they contain pieces of metal

Wall's Mini Calippo multi-packs are being recalled because they may contain small pieces of metal.

The presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has said.

A statement regarding the Orange and Lemon-Lime 6 x 80ml pack has been issued online.

It reads: "Wall's is taking the precautionary measure of recalling a limited batch of Wall's Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime multi-packs as internal quality checks have shown they may contain very small fragments of metal.

"The safety of the people that buy and use our products is always our number one priority which is why we are taking the precaution of recalling this limited number of Wall's Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime multi-packs."

Adding: "We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank everyone for their co-operation."

The products affected include Wall's Mini Calippo Orange & Lemon-Lime multi-packs (6 x 80ml) with best before end dates of April 2022 or May 2022.

The batch codes affected are L0121, L0122, L0123, L0124, L0125 and L0126. These can be found on the short side of the box.

FSA have told customers who have bought the product not to eat it. Instead, contact Unilever on their Careline Freephone: 0800 731 1507.

No other Wall's products are affected by this product recall, the FSA confirmed.
