Mimi's Bakehouse and Edinburgh Gin have joined forces for bring the ultimate afternoon tea experience to locals across the city.
The two local companies have created the 'G&Tea' in celebration of Edinburgh Gin launching their latest flavour, Gooseberry and Elderflower.
Over the next four weekends, locals will be able to order the afternoon tea to their door, which includes a 70cl bottle of the new gin as well as a selection of baked goods.
Edinburgh Gin have described the new Gooseberry and Elderflower drink as a "delightfully tangy expression", which "boasts flavours of tart gooseberries and sweet elderflower, giving it a subtly tangy taste with a delicate, honeyed finish."
Each set will contain:
- Six mini traybakes
- Two mini elderflower cupcakes
- Two plain scones
- Clotted cream
- Homemade gooseberry jam
Each set for two is priced at £50, with orders made each week for the following weekend.
To toast the special partnership, and the official start of summer, Edinburgh Gin will also be giving two copa glasses and tonic water to the first 100 orders of their Afternoon G&Tea.
