Milton SSPCA rehoming centre appeal for animal lovers to donate washing powder

An animal rescue charity is appealing to residents to donate non-biological washing powder to their Dumbarton centre.

Items can be purchased from the centre’s Amazon wishlist or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre.

Centre manager Judy Button said: “It may not seem like the most obvious item a rehoming centre would need but washing powder is actually vital to the everyday running of the centre.

“We do constant loads of washing on a daily basis and washing powder is essential to make sure animals have clean bedding to keep them comfy and cosy while they wait for their forever home.

“If anyone can help with washing powder we would appreciate anything that people can spare.”

Items can be dropped in to the Scottish SPCA Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre or ordered via any retailer offering online delivery or purchased from the centre’s Amazon wishlist.
