Milton police incident – Street locked down after man found seriously injured

A Milton street has been locked down by police after a man was found seriously injured.

A huge emergency services presence was reported on Westray Street in the north side of Glasgow.

Four police vehicles and an ambulance can be seen in images posted on social media by No1seems2care, the Daily Record reports.

According to local reports, officers have cordoned off Westray Street from the entrance at Berneray Street near the shops.

A police helicopter was also seen hovering above the area, according to local eyewitnesses.

Cops confirmed that they are currently in attendance after a man was found seriously injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Emergency services are currently in attendance on Westray Street, Glasgow following the report of a man being found seriously injured.

"Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
