Miltiadis Marinakis sends 'unbelievable' Nottingham Forest message

The son of Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has praised the side's "unbelievable" last minute win against Millwall.

After the game, Miltiadis Marinakis posted a 13-second video of the Forest fans celebrating Lewis Grabban's 91st-minute winner.

Two thousand Reds occupied the upper tier behind the goal and there was pandemonium when the goal went in.

Alongside the video, Marinakis posted a short message praising and encouraging the team.

He wrote: "Unbelievable last minute win. Let’s keep going! #NFFC"

His post-match videos have become a staple of a Forest matchday as his passion for the club is clear to see.

Forest currently sit 10th in the Championship and are eyeing a late push for the play-offs under head coach Steve Cooper.

There are 20 more games to play in the league season, while Forest are also eyeing a scalp as a tie against Leicester in the FA Cup approaches.

Meanwhile, Marinakis' father Evangelos will be looking to back Cooper as the head coach eyes more January additions.

“I hope so, but we’ll see," Cooper said, when asked if any transfer business could soon be in the pipeline.

“There are no guarantees on anything. We’ll wait and see.

“If it is, great. If not, as I always say, I’ll only ever focus on and talk about the players that I’m working with every single day. That will always be where my allegiance lies."
