Miltiadis Marinakis sends 'proud' message to Nottingham Forest players and fans after Luton draw

Miltiadis Marinakis was once again in attendance at the City Ground to support Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening.

He watched on as Steve Cooper's men were held to a goalless draw by Luton Town in their latest Sky Bet Championship outing.

It is not the first time that Marinakis - son of Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis - has been seen in the stands watching the Reds recently.

He has also been spotted cheering the club on against Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers and Bristol City in recent months.

Although midfielder Jack Colback was sent off shortly after the hour mark against Luton, Forest were able to claim a point - registering their third home draw of the campaign.

Following the stalemate, Marinakis praised the Reds' display at the City Ground, delivering a message on Twitter.

Alongside a video from the stands at full-time, it read: "This team will always fight until the end! Proud of the spirit shown tonight and brilliant support once again."

"Was incredible to be at the game," a Forest supporter replied.

Cooper's men are back in action on Friday, November 26, at The Hawthorns when they face promotion contenders West Brom (8pm kick-off).
